About Erawan National Park

Erawan is about 50 kilometers northwest of Kanchanaburi town, in the limestone hills of the Tenasserim Range. Founded in 1975 as Thailand's 12th national park, it covers about 550 square kilometers. The main draw is Erawan waterfall, with seven named tiers you can walk up, stopping to swim along the way. There's also a nature trail of about one kilometer, plus caves with stalactites, Phra That and Wang Badan.
