About Ancient City (Mueang Boran)

The Ancient City, also called Ancient Siam or Mueang Boran, is a museum park built by Lek Viriyaphan near the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm. The grounds follow the shape of Thailand, with 116 structures placed roughly where the real ones stand. Some are life-size replicas, some are scaled down, and some are new designs. Experts from the National Museum helped with accuracy. One reconstruction is the Grand Palace of Ayutthaya, which was destroyed in 1767.
