About Phuket Old Town
Phuket was an important port on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula, where Chinese immigrants first landed. Its old town has heritage buildings across ten streets, including Thalang, Dibuk, Krabi and Phang Nga roads. The Sino-Portuguese shophouses line both sides of the street, and it's an easy area to walk, with coffee shops, local restaurants and souvenir stores along the way.
