About Ao Phang Nga National Park
This park is mostly sea, dotted with steep-sided limestone tower islands in the Strait of Malacca. It takes in parts of Mueang Phang Nga and Takua Thung districts. The best-known island is Khao Phing Kan, nicknamed James Bond Island after The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed here. Those sheer karst shapes are what bring most visitors.
