About Ko Yao
Ko Yao district is two main islands in Phang Nga Bay, Ko Yao Noi and Ko Yao Yai, about 148 square kilometers in all. Most people on Ko Yao Noi are Muslim and work in fishing and trade. TAT recommends it for travelers who like peace and nature, and there are many small islands nearby. Cave paintings on the islands date back over 2,000 years, and the first known inhabitants were the Moken.
