About Bueng Si Fai
Bueng Si Fai is an oxbow lake fed by the Nan River, in Mueang Phichit district. It's shallow, only about 1.5 to 2 meters deep, and important for freshwater fish breeding and birds. It's the fifth-largest freshwater lake in Thailand, though it has shrunk from more than 10,000 rai to about 5,390. The Chaloem Prakiat Aquarium is among the places to see around the shore.
