About Prasat Kamphaeng Yai
Prasat Sa Kamphaeng Yai dates from the 11th century, built under Udayadityavarman II in the Baphuon style. It's in the grounds of Wat Sa Kamphaeng Yai, in Uthumphon Phisai district, and it's the largest and best preserved Khmer temple in Si Sa Ket. The name means large walls. A gallery-lined laterite enclosure with sandstone gateways surrounds its six structures.
