About Doi Phu Kha National Park

Doi Phu Kha is Northern Thailand's largest national park, covering parts of eight districts in the Luang Prabang Range. The Nan and Pua rivers start within its limits. The 1,980 meter Doi Phu Kha gives the park its name, and there are many caves. The chomphu phu kha, a rare tree with pink flower bunches, grows in Thailand only here. Trekking to Doi Phu Wae, at 1,837 meters, takes three days and two nights.
