About Tham Luang

Tham Luang Nang Non means Great Cave of the Sleeping Lady, and it runs beneath a mountain range on the Myanmar border. In June 2018, monsoon flooding trapped twelve young footballers and their assistant coach inside. Everyone was out by July 10, and two Thai rescue divers died during the mission. It's the fourth-largest cave in Thailand, with winding halls, low ceilings and stalactites. Guided tours have run from November to April, with many parts closed, so check before you go.
