About Prasat Muang Tam

Prasat Muang Tam is a Khmer temple complex in Buriram, built in the 10th and 11th centuries and dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. It's known for its sandstone carvings and four lotus-filled reservoirs, which reflect the temple's ideas about the Hindu cosmos. It's quieter than Phanom Rung, and the two are close enough to see on the same day.
